You really don’t need much to make this delicious and healthy salmon dish!
- Butter
- Garlic
- Fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper
- Lemon

How To Cook Garlic Salmon In Foil
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cut 4 sheets of foil about 12-inch long.
- In a small bowl, whisk together butter, garlic, parsley, salt and pepper.
- Place each piece of salmon in a foil sheet. Drizzle 1 tablespoon of the butter mixture over each piece of salmon. Top with 2 lemon slices.
- Wrap sides of foil inward over the salmon and fold the top and bottom to seal.
- Place the salmon pouches in a baking sheet. Bake until the salmon is cooked through, about 20-25 minutes.
- Unwrap foil and serve immediately.

Cooking fish in foil is a foolproof way of cooking it to perfection. It helps to lock in the moisture so that it doesn’t dry out and it’s a totally hands-off process. It also helps the garlic and parsley flavors to really penetrate the fish. It also makes clean up a breeze!
How do you know when the fish is cooked?
The salmon is cooked when it’s an opaque pink colour throughout the fillet. If you take a fork to the edge of it, the flesh should flake easily. If you have an instant read thermometer, it should register at 145F.
