As I sit here writing this post, I think about the many breakfast recipes I like to eat on a regular basis and I have to honestly say that this one is at the top of the list. Not only because it’s super delicious, but because it’s one of the easiest and quickest recipes in the whole wide world.
It’s so easy that this is one of the first recipes I ever thought her to make at the very young age of 8 years old. She is now 12 and has become a pro at cooking scrambled eggs in all sorts of ways.
HOW TO MAKE SCRAMBLED EGGS?
Making scrambled eggs is not as hard are some people think, but there’s also a system to it to make sure that you get soft, fluffy scrambled eggs.
- Melt butter in a medium sized nonstick skillet over medium low heat.
- In a bowl crack the eggs and whisk. Add the ham and stir to combine. Season with salt and pepper.
- When the butter starts bubbling, add the eggs to the skiller.
- As the edges start to set, gently stir around the edges using a rubber spatula to form soft curds. Add the cheese and continue stirring occasionally until cooked, about 5 minutes.
- Serve warm with a side of avocado and toast.
Whatever you do, make sure to keep the heat on medium low and not higher. If the heat is too high, you can overcook your scrambled eggs very quickly.
WILL SCRAMBLED EGGS KEEP IN THE FRIDGE?
Scrambled eggs are best enjoyed immediately after cooking. You can store scrambled eggs in the fridge for up to 4 days. However, keeping scrambled eggs in the fridge will affect its texture, which means that by the time to decide to eat it, the eggs might no longer be as soft.
To reheat your scrambled eggs, place it on a microwave safe bowl and cover with a wet paper towel. Microwave for about 20 seconds. Stir with a fork and continue to microwave in 20 second intervals until the eggs are hot and ready to be eaten.
There’re so many delicious ways to make scrambled eggs. This recipe for scrambled eggs with ham and cheese is certainly one of my favorites, but you can really make an immense variety of combinations with many delicious ingredients to make a different breakfast every single day.
For example, you can mix in vegetables like onions, peppers, tomatoes. You can add bacon, sausage
