- 1 pound rotini or penne pasta (454 g)
- 12 ounces canned tuna, drained (340 g)
- 5 tablespoons mayonnaise (75 g)
- 1/2 cup green bell pepper, finely chopped (75 g)
- 1/2 cup red bell pepper, finely chopped (75 g)
- 1 small red onion, finely chopped (100 g)
- 3/4 cup sweet corn, drained (120 g)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (3 g), or to taste
- 2 teaspoons vinegar (10 ml)
- 1 tablespoon green onion, thinly sliced (15 g), for garnish
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package instructions until tender but still firm.
Drain and rinse lightly with cold water. Let cool completely.
In a large bowl, combine pasta and tuna, breaking the tuna apart gently.
Add mayonnaise, bell peppers, red onion, and corn. Mix until evenly combined.
Add vinegar and salt. Stir well and adjust seasoning if needed.
Garnish with green onions and serve chilled or at room temperature.
