Minced Pork Recipe (Pork Picadillo)

1. Heat oil in a medium skillet over medium high heat.

2. Stir in the onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Cook for about 2-3 minutes or until the onion becomes translucent.

3. Stir in the pork. Add the adobo, black pepper, oregano, and paprika. Stir and cook for about 5 minutes, or until the meat is brown.

4. Stir in the sofrito, tomato sauce, potatoes, and alcaparrado. Let it cook for about 2 minutes.

5. Pour in the water and stir. Continue to cook for about 15 minutes until most of the liquid has evaporated and the potatoes are cooked through.

6. Serve over white rice with a side of black beans and maduros.
