Instructions
Place the eggs in a medium saucepan and add enough water to cover the eggs completely, about 3 cups.
Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. When it starts to boil, set the timer to 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes have passed, remove the eggs from the saucepan and place in a bowl of ice water to shock them.
Break the eggshell by tapping on the counter or wooden board. Peel carefully.
Dip the egg (while peeling it) to help remove any shells that remain.
Slice the eggs, season with salt and pepper and serve.
Notes
You can store the boiled eggs in the refrigerator for 5 days.
