How to Make Perfect Hard Boiled Eggs

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 3 cups water
  • sat and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Place the eggs in a medium saucepan and add enough water to cover the eggs completely, about 3 cups.
  • Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. When it starts to boil, set the timer to 10 minutes.
  • After 10 minutes have passed, remove the eggs from the saucepan and place in a bowl of ice water to shock them.
  • Break the eggshell by tapping on the counter or wooden board. Peel carefully.
  • Dip the egg (while peeling it) to help remove any shells that remain.
  • Slice the eggs, season with salt and pepper and serve.

Notes

You can store the boiled eggs in the refrigerator for 5 days.
