For the Grilled Chicken Skewers ▢ 8-10 skewer sticks ▢ 2 ½ pounds chicken breast boneless, skinless, cut into 1 inch cubes ▢ ½ cup green bell pepper cut into 1 inch pieces ▢ ½ cup red bell pepper cut into 1 inch pieces ▢ ½ cup yellow bell pepper cut into 1 inch pieces ▢ ½ cup Spanish onion cut into 1 inch pieces ▢ Salt and pepper to taste

Grilled Chicken Skewers with Guava BBQ Sauce

1. Heat outdoor grill to medium-high heat.

2. Thread chicken and vegetables alternately onto skewers. Season chicken and vegetable skewers with salt and pepper to taste.

3. Place chicken skewers on the grill to cook turning occasionally until charred, about 10-15 minutes.

4. In a medium saucepan combine guava paste, barbecue sauce, garlic, lime juice, and vinegar. Bring to a slow simmer and stir until the guava paste has melted and the sauce is smooth, set aside.
