Green Plantains 

1. Peel the plantains and cut into 1-inch thick slices.

PREP THE PLANTAINS

2. In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat. Fry the plantains until lightly golden on both sides, about 5 minutes. Transfer to a plate lined with a paper towel.
