Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, 1 stick
  • 10 oz pack of mini marshmallows
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 6 cups rice krispies
  • 1 cup dark M&Ms chocolate

Instructions

  • Melt marshmallows and butter together in a large sauce pan over medium heat. Mix in vanilla.
  • Place rice krispies in a large bowl and pour melted marshmallows over it. Stir until it's all combined. Keep in mind, it will be sticky.
  • Add the dark chocolate M&Ms and quickly combine into the sticky mixture. Some of the chocolate pieces will melt a little.
  • Line a 9x13 baking pan with parchment paper. Spread the rice krispies mixture into the pan to mold it into a large rectangle. Let it sit to cool for about 45.
  • Once cooled, remove the rice krispies from the pan by carefully pulling the parchment paper out.
  • Using a knife, cut into squares and serve with a cup of milk.

Notes

  • You can add a little extra butter to lower the sweetness a tiny bit.
  • Be sure to line your pan with parchment paper so that they are easy to remove.
  • Don't press down too hard on the rice Krispies when you put them into the pan.
