Ingredients

  • ½ cup rice
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 3 cups water
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup Oregon Chai Tea Latte Concentrate
  • ¾ cup evaporated milk
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • ¼ cup raisins
  • sliced almonds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • In a large pot over medium heat, place the rice, cinnamon stick, salt and water. Let it simmer until rice is tender, about 20 minutes. Stir the pot occasionally to keep the rice from sticking.
  • Add the Oregon Chai Tea Latte Concentrate, milk, sugar and butter. Stir well to combine. Once it comes to a boil, add the raisins.
  • Let it simmer until it reaches a pudding-like consistency. Turn off the heat and cover to let cool down before serving.
