Ingredients

  • 3 cups whole milk
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract optional
  • 2 cups ice cubes
  • 1 ½ cups orange juice freshly squeezed

Instructions

  • Chill milk and orange juice.
  • In a large pitcher, combine milk, sugar and vanilla. Add ice and stir. Pour in the orange juice while stirring continuously.
  • Garnish with an orange slice. Serve immediately.

Notes

It is important that all ingredients are really cold before mixing and that you add the orange juice last otherwise the mix will curdle. To avoid this, make sure to follow the recipe in the order of the instructions.
