MY DOMINICAN KITCHEN
Quick and easy chicken fajitas made with tender juicy chicken breast tossed in a flavorful taco seasoning cooked with fresh crisp colorful peppers and red onions.
Let’s get started!
01 – Chicken Breast
02 – Taco Seasoning Mix
03 – Green, Red, and Yellow Bell Pepper
04 – Red Onion
05 – Lime Juice
06 – Pinch of Salt
01
– Cut chicken into small strips. In a large shallow bowl combine chicken and taco seasoning. Let it sit for about 5 minutes while you cut the veggies.
02
– Cut the peppers and onions into slices.
03
– In a large skillet or pan, heat olive oil. Cook chicken for about 10 minutes or until cooked through and golden on all sides. Flip them a few times while cooking so they get a nice even char. Transfer chicken to a warm plate.
04
– Add the peppers and onions to the pan and cook until the onion is soft and the peppers are slightly charred and cooked. Add the chicken back to the pan and stir to combine.
05
– Serve with warm tortillas, avocado, sour cream, queso fresco and lime wedges.
