Sweet and creamy, this Peach and Dulce de Leche Overnight Oats is a delicious make ahead breakfast for busy mornings.

This week, I come to you with the simplest, easiest and most yummy of food preparations: Overnight Oats!
I am probably late to this party, but I must confess that I have just recently learned about it and was in complete disbelief about how easy and how incredibly delicious overnight oats are. I mean, the variety of flavors and combinations you can make are practically endless and it won’t cost you much, neither in money nor time. Win, win.
What’s even better is that you make it ahead and it’s ready to eat as soon as you wake up. It is the perfect breakfast for those really busy mornings when you can barely get out of bed, let alone get yourself and the kids ready to head out for work and school. Lately, there seems to be just too many of those days. Am I right?
There are definitely too many mornings when I wake up with absolutely no energy to prepare breakfast. I am just so happy to have found a delicious and healthy breakfast that I can simply put together in 5 minutes the night before and have it ready to eat in the morning without any extra effort.
This flavor combination is one I tried for the kids to have on their first day of school.
The combination of dulce de leche with just about any fruit is something that I love. I always have some around the house to spread on crackers, dip some fruits in or make yummy recipes that call for some milky sweetness.
To make this overnight oats recipe, I added some peaches, dulce de leche, chia seeds, milk and old fashion oats to a mason jar. I mixed all the ingredients just a little to ensure all the oats were moistened. I covered the jar tightly with a lid and refrigerated overnight. The next morning all we had to do was remove the lid and eat! It doesn’t get any easier than that. Does it?
Peach and Dulce de Leche Overnight Oats
- ½ cup whole milk
- 1 tablespoon dulce de leche
- ½ cup peaches , cubed
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- ½ cup old fashion oats
- To a mason jar or small bowl, add the milk, dulce de leche, peaches and chia seeds. Give it a slight stir.
- Add the oats and give another slight stir. Then press down on the oats with a spoon to make sure that all the oats are immersed in the milk.
- Cover tightly with a lid or plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator overnight.
- The next day, remove from the refrigerator and enjoy.
- Top with additional dulce de leche and peaches, if desired.
